Cayene Pepper (Capsicum Frutescens), That's Right, For Sore Throat, Did You Know?

If you want to relieve your sore throat for a couple hours, did you know you could use household items?
Try this one:
 A few good shakes of cayenne pepper in a cup of lemon water or hot tea, of course I always put a little raw honey in there too :)
I have also used Tabasco sauce, white pepper, hot paprika. these spices contain capsaicin, that will not only dull pain but also have anti-viral properties. You can use this as a gargle swallowing a little each time, although, I just slowly sip the whole cup down. This is not for people who are hot spice sensitive, having some milk handy with help with burning sensation.

CAUTION: Cayenne pepper is a natural blood thinner, do not take it before surgery or dental treatment. Just mention to doctor when and how much you take.
