Raisins And Fiber! Did You Know?

Did you know that raisins are  dried green or black grapes? They are used all over the world in cooking, and make a very easy healthy snack on the run. Raisins not inly  taste good, but are full of healthy benefits.
Remedy for constipation
Raisins bulk up in the digestive system as the fibre absorbs water. Gram for gram, there's a very high concentration of fibre in raisins due to the drying process, and the bulking up action speeds food  through the digestive tract and eases constipation. If you're one of the few who aren't really keen on eating raisins, you may try boiling them in water for about 15 minutes, then strain the water and drink it when cooled.
